Blue-Black rose brocade corset, 1750's style (from _The Little Corset Book_ by Bonnie Holt Ambrose) over a muslin chemise with blackworked cuffs.

The chemise is a variation on my usual pattern (take a piece of fabric twice as long as you want your chemise, fold it in half, cut a big hole for your head, attach sleeves, sew sides, hem, and casings.) I never do anything with cuffs, but I got it into my head to try blackwork, and it seemed an obvious place to begin.
