Quick Snood

use a weight 10 thread and a fairly large hook (I used size 1 Steel)
row 1: ch 10, join with sl st to form ring. *ch6, 1 sc in ring. repeat from * 5 times. ch 3, dc in ring to form 6th loop.

row 2: ch 6, sc in 2nd st of first loop. ch 6, sc in 5th st of first loop. reapeat for all loops. At last loop, ch 3, dc in 5th st of last loop.

row 3: ch 6, sc in top of loop in previous row. repeat until you get to the last loop. ch 3, dc in top of last loop.

row 4: repeat row 3. continue repeating until the ch 6 loops are almost straight, then repeat row 2, and continue with row 3. Keep going until the snood is big enough. Fasten off.

Thread a ribbon or piece of narrow elastic though the outermost edge, and you're good to go.
