If you are more likely to remember someone's name because it's the same as the name of a character in a novel..
Extra credit if it's a non-standard spelling, or has silent Ls or a Y somewhere in the middle.

If you plan on naming your first daughter after multiple Celtic goddesses, because some of your favorite characters happen to be Celtic goddesses..

If you ever thought of naming your first son Vanyel or Elric, but decided not to because you don't want to inadvertantly doom him..

If you've ever signed a letter "Hail Eris! Hail Discordia!"
